Dear Industry Colleagues: |
Welcome to our first edition
of 2016 of award winning
'Creatively Yours'. We are
also introducing our new
look for our newsletters.
As we started 2016, many of
us stopped and pondered on
all that happened in the
year gone by and wondered
what the year ahead holds
for us. All we know for sure
that each year paves the way
to some new hopes and new
promises. Lord Buddha said
“There are two mistakes one
can make along the road to
truth… not going all the
way, and not starting.” We
wish for 2016 to be a year
of many happy starts for one
and all.
For us in the Creative
Travel family, 2016 brings
in our 39th year of being
amongst India’s most
respected travel companies.
One thing that has stood the
test of time is our sense of
family. Family in our
ownership, in our team and
in the way we work with our
partners and suppliers
across the world. 2015 was a
challenging year in the
world of travel. From
uncertain economies to
natural calamities, from
acts of war and terrorism to
political instabilities, the
world saw much happen over
the past year, affecting the
way people travelled.
Despite that, our family has
held strong, true to its
mission of showcasing the
best our region has to
offer.
This past year saw the
construction of our new
corporate headquarters make
good progress. It’s a bit
behind schedule (as seems
the case with most
construction projects). But
with the structure now
ready, fit-outs shall begin
soon. The team is really
excited at the move later
this year. This state of the
art facility not only gives
us more work & play space,
but also brings in a new
sense of energy in our work
ethos. Our aim has been to
design a home that attracts
talent and to give our team
an environment that fosters
creativity.
In 2015 we also proudly
unveiled our Vision, Mission
and Values statement. A
collaborative effort of our
team, this reaffirms how we
deliver and support the
objectives of our partners
and guests from around the
world. Every word we have
written resonates in how we
feel deep in our hearts. The
high level of engagement
shown by our team members
demonstrates their pride and
commitment. See
our vision statement here.
2015 was also another record
breaking year when it came
to winning global accolades.
Creative Travel was proud to
have been awarded as "Asia's
Leading Destination
Management Company" (our 4th
win), "India's Leading
Destination Management
Company" (our 5th) and
"India's Leading Luxury
Travel Agency" (our 2nd) at
the 2015 World Travel Awards
Ceremony. The World Travel
Awards are described by the
Wall Street Journal as "the
Oscars of the Travel
Industry". We also received
our 6th SITE Crystal Award
from SITE (the Society for
Incentive Travel Excellence)
for achievements in
incentive travel. For the
fifth time we were voted by
the readers of TTG
publications as the "Best
Travel Agency in India" at
the prestigious 26th Annual
TTG Travel Awards 2015. We
could not have done all of
this without the support of
our friends and family
across the world.
We Indians don't believe in
looking back. As a nation
fascinated by astrology,
palmistry, numerology, palm
leaf reading and what have
you, we always look at the
future for what it holds and
for the opportunities it
will bring. If there is
something we don't like,
there is always a religious
ceremony around to fix it.
We are a nation of
contrasts, of challenges, of
organized chaos, of enormous
beauty. We are a people who
believe in the power of the
self and the power of the
almighty. India is an
unexplainable phenomenon and
Indians can sometimes be
odd, but we are a people who
believe truly 2016 will be a
better year for us all.

Milieu 2015 -
Creative Travel Annual New
Year party !!
On 24th December, Creative
Travel had its annual party
and celebrated Christmas and
welcomed the New Year in
full swing. We knew that we
had a lot of talent here at
Creative but even so we
thought we would put to the
test just how creative our
team members are and had the
party themed as Fashion
Disaster. We were pleasantly
surprised and delighted by
level of commitment and
initiative taken by each
team member to make fashion
disaster a complete
success!!
Here are some of the
glimpses from our fun filled
evening. Click

What
People are Saying |
Thank you so much for all
the superb arrangements
Creative Travel organized
for us recently.
We had a wonderful trip in
India, and enjoyed every
minute. The country has so
much tourism potential and
the goal for us is clearly
to get this message to
people.
I’m sure we will see good
growth going forward from
Australia.
I would particularly like to
thank Lalit for the very
efficient arrangements and
personal attention he gave
us at all times.
Also Taj our tour guide, who
was really outstanding. Taj
got just the right balance
for us of culture, history
and personal time, and very
responsive to our needs. (I
should also mention Bhupal
our driver who was
excellent).
All the best, and thank you
again.
Kind regards,
John Weeks
