Mumbai gets
first direct flight to Beijing GVK Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) announced the beginning of the first direct flights between Mumbai and Beijing, the capital city of China, from the integrated Terminal two starting October 25, 2015. Air China will now operate on this route four days a week with the Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The first arrival flight from Beijing to Mumbai is CA 889 at 0100 hours and the first departing flight from Mumbai to Beijing is CA 890 at 0230 hours on October 25, 2015. Air China currently operates from Mumbai to Shanghai via Chengdu with a narrow-body aircraft Airbus A319. The new wide body aircraft A330-300 on Mumbai-Beijing route will accommodate more than 300 passengers. |
