Dear Industry
Colleagues,
|
Welcome to another edition 'Creatively Yours'.
November is one of the peak wedding months in North India.
Every day someone is getting married somewhere and with the pomp and show that
Indian weddings are legendary for. Any traveller that is in the country at this
time is bound to come across a wedding in most major hotels. Don’t feel shy.
Pop your head into the halls and you are bound to be called in by the hosts to
see more.
Did you know that we have journeys that can take guests to
an Indian wedding? See this on our specialist site of experiential journeys
called Crafted by Creative.
The Indian Whiskey “Indri” just got awarded as the top
whiskey in the world. We didn’t see that coming, but it does make us proud.
There are a few new hotels and flight launches that are relevant to our
industry. Read these and more in this edition of Creatively Yours.
We will be back at the IBTM World in Barcelona and ILTM
Cannes in a few weeks. So excited to be seeing old friends again. If you want
to set up an appointment at any of these shows, let us know.
Remember, we do offer custom training and one-on-one strategy
sessions to travel advisors and tour operators across the world. If you would
like to book a session, just email us at engage@creative.travel
with your details.
Additional news items are also on our blog site.

Band, Baaja, Baraat: Into the heart of Indian weddings
India is a tapestry
of diverse cultures and joyous traditions. At the very epicentre of this
vibrant kaleidoscope is the big fat Indian
wedding. A spellbinding spectacle of love, laughter and festivities, this unforgettable experience is a
sensational fusion of customs and celebrations. In Sanskrit, we call it "Vivaha," meaning a
sacred union of two souls and the merging of two families. Grand in scale and splendour, the Indian wedding is
more than just nuptials; it's a divine overture of life and love.

India is huge. By size, by number of people, by its
diversity. And this really hits you when you try to travel from one part of the
country to another. The vastness can be overwhelming, even for us who live
here. But India is also spectacularly engaging and it lives up to its tagline
of being incredible.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Hampi in the
Southern Indian state of Karnataka. We had the privilege of operating a luxury
around the world charter that landed in India to spend 3 nights in this unique
destination.
