This Month

Dear Industry Colleagues,

Welcome To another edition 'Creatively Yours'.

It’s December. The month of festivities and joy. Its been a busy year for most. The world has had its share of ups and downs, but let's all agree that the end of the year is a time for thankfulness for whatever little joys we have.

December also tends to be a slower time in the news cycle. This edition of Creatively Yours has a focus on food, especially since India is legendary for cuisine being the core of all our festivals and celebrations. Our food habits also change from summer to winter. Read a bit about thi sin our story ‘Pranthas, Pongal and Pinni: India’s season feasts.’

As it inducts new aircraft on a weekly basis, Air India is also expanding its international routes. Melbourne non-stop is the latest to come online.

No more trade shows left this year, so a bit of respite fom our travels.

Remember, we do offer custom training and one-on-one strategy sessions to travel advisors and tour operators across the world. If you would like to book a session, just email us at engage@creative.travel with your details.

Additional news items are also on our blog site.

Have a Creative Day!

Story of the month

Parathas, Pongal & Pinni: India's seasonal feasts

While growing up, many of us remember the onset of winter as a time of much excitement. As last year's woollies emerged from a long hibernation, joyous discoveries were made. We spent hours fashioning hideaways with blankets unearthed from linen cupboards. But most of all, winters were synonymous with afternoons on sunny terraces, savouring seasonal favourites….piping hot Mooli Parathas (whole wheat flour flatbread filled with a spiced mixture of grated radish), sweet Gajar Halwa (grated carrots slow-cooked in milk and ghee) and tangy Kanji (a fermented drink made from black carrots, mustard seeds and spices). Fast forward a few decades, and these cherished rituals remain unchanged.
