Dear Industry Colleagues,

Welcome to the first 2019 edition of 'Creatively Yours'.

Everyone has expectations that the new year will bring in a lot more happiness and optimism than the complicated year that has gone by. The past cannot be changed, the future is yet in your power. All we know for sure is that each year paves the way to new hopes and new promises. Lord Buddha said “Every morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” We wish for 2019 to be a year of many happy starts for one and all.

For us in the Creative Travel family, 2019 brings in our 42nd year of being amongst India’s most respected travel companies. Despite all the challenges of the year gone by, our family has held strong, true to its mission of showcasing the best that our region has to offer.

2018 was a good year for the Creative team. It was yet another record-breaking year for winning global accolades. Creative Travel is proud to have been recognised as "India's Leading Destination Management Company" (our 8th) and "India's Leading Luxury Travel Agency" (our 5th) and our team at JungleSutra Wildlife Journeys was awarded as “India’s Most Experiential Holiday Company” (our 3rd) at the 2018 World Travel Awards, described by the Wall Street Journal as "the Oscars of the Travel Industry". We also won our 7th SITE Crystal Award for an amazing incentive project in the Maldives. We were named as ‘India’s Most Preferred Travel & Tourism Brand’ by an independent jury. And this was further followed by three accolades at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA).

We are so very proud of the men and women in our team who made all this possible. But we do recognise that we could not have done all of this without the support of our friends and partners across the world.

India has been transforming. We are outpacing every other major economy in the world, with a growth rate exceeding 7%. We are a very complex, chaotic, and confusing nation. We baffle every pundit’s predictions for our future. CNN did a very interesting piece on the future of the internet and how India will drive that. The article can be read here. Made us feel proud.

We Indians don't believe in looking back. As a nation fascinated by astrology, palmistry, numerology, palm leaf reading and what have you, we always look at the future for what it holds and for the opportunities it will bring. If there is something we don't like, there is always a religious ceremony around to fix it. We are a nation of contrasts, of challenges, of organised chaos, and of enormous beauty. We are a people who believe in the power of the self and the power of the almighty. India is an inexplicable phenomenon and Indians can sometimes be odd, but we are a people who believe truly that 2019 will be a better year for us all.

So, wherever you are and whatever your heart desires, on behalf of the Kohli family and the entire team at Creative Travel, Plan it! Meetings & Conferences, JungleSutra Wildlife Journeys & Signature Tours, we wish you and your loved ones a great and joyful 2019.

“Just because the past didn’t turn out like you wanted it to, doesn’t mean your future can’t be better than you imagined.” ~ Anonymous

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

I am writing to you to say you… THANK YOU!

I was talking with the client and he told me that it was the travel of their life. It was everything perfect! They loved the life of board with luxury accommodation, exquisite cooking, kind attention… and Spanish guide on board, who they didn’t expect. Their travel in Darjeeling-Gangtok area was marvellous! They loved their hotels, wonderful landscapes… and above all… they are deeply grateful for their amazing guide.

They are already thinking for their next year travel and probably they will repeat a luxury cruise in India, someone told them about a new Oberoi Cruise in Kerala area, and probably they will reserve it.

I will get in contact with you as soon as they request me this new travel.

Thanks for your help and wonderful experience to the clients.

Kind regards
