What
they think about us .... |
|
|
|
|
We
at Creative track guest feedback very carefully. Each
evaluation form gives us an insight on our operations and allows
us to constantly refine our service delivery process. Now and then
we get a few letters that brighten up our days. This is
an excerpt from one of the lovely messages we get :
I loved India, it definitely is a
magical place. I have been recommending your beautiful
country to everyone. This was my first time with Insight and I
must say that the tour, the service and the good company were
excellent. It was such a wonderful experience.
Our last two days in India were just as memorable.
The Leela Palace was unbelievable. It was very hard to leave the
pool, Vicki and I felt very spoilt!
My husband and I are in Adelaide for a few days, it's
a delightful quiet city, nothing like vibrant, bustling New Delhi.
Unbelievably our taxi driver in Adelaide was from the
Punjab. So we had a great chat about India, Agra and the Taj Mahal.
Anyway thank you again for the emails, Elaine wants
my pics of the goats in Old Delhi, so will pass them on. Wishing
you every success for the future. Many thanks to you and
the crew for such a wonderful time.
Cheers
Janette

Diwali festival – 11th November 2015
A Hindu festival rooted in deep human values, strong
mythical beliefs and legends, Diwali signifies the true essence
of life where good overcomes evil. Celebrated with much
gaiety, grandeur and festivity, the festival of Diwali transcends
caste, creed and community to become all-inclusive and encompassing.
In man's eternal quest for both spiritual enlightenment and worldly
prosperity, Diwali marks the most auspicious day when
family bonds and human relations become stronger while business
ventures gain a promising head start.
Diwali is celebrated on the 'new moon day' in the
month of Kartik which falls in October/ November. The boisterous
fervor of Diwali is manifested in busy markets much ahead
of celebration, illuminated public places and homes lit with earthen
'diyas' , candles and decorative lighting and people decked
up in bright, new clothes. Men and women partake of the rituals
which involves doing 'pujas' and offering 'prasad' to Gods and
Goddesses. Perhaps as old as the tradition of celebrating Diwali
is, equally age-old is the ritual of offering sweets and gifts
to families and friends. The most common scene synonymous with
Diwali is that of children and adults burning firecrackers and
sparkles. A noticeable trend around Diwali celebrations is a
Diwali party, where friends and family gather to celebrate this
day. |

This event is a photographer’s delight where 16 tribes of Nagaland

The Forsyth Trail
Captain James Forsyth was an officer under the Bengal
Corps, with a keen interest in Wildlife. This was brought to life
when he was posted in the unexplored forests of Satpura
and it is his journal “Highlands of Central India”, based on his
walks through the dense jungles of Pachmarhi Wildlife Sanctuary
and Satpura National Park that has brought attention to this unique
Central Indian Jungle.
A Popular trail that was traversed by him on many occasions
has inspired a wonderful wilderness experience in Satpura to retrace
the steps of this explorer and take in Satpura’s Landscape
and wildlife, the way he saw it… a hundred odd years ago!
A wonderful trek led by naturalists and forest guards.
The aim of this trek is to appreciate the landscape and flora
fauna of the region with an emphasis on lesser fauna and
is not to be considered a strenuous trek. The experience covers
34 km taking you from an elevation of 990m to 345m or the other
way around and the walk is spread over 2 nights and 3 days giving
you ample time to explore the forests, appreciate and do some
photography and even sketches or quick artwork. Nights
are spent camping under brilliant skies. A truly exciting way to
explore undisturbed jungles of Central India. If camping
and the outdoors interest you this experience should definitely
be on your must do lists when visiting India.

Devshree
– Rajasthan
Devshree lies on the edge of the lovely village of
Deograh, in the Aravalli Hills. It has a glorious position and
is almost equidistant between Jodhpur and Udaipur so it
makes the most ideal break in a hectic, city based itinerary.
Surrounded by stunning granite hills, lakes and woodland, the
utterly charming owners have created an incredibly warm,
inviting, ‘home’ with immense style, taste and character. Built
in the traditional ‘haveli’ style, with deep verandhas,
verdant lawns and pretty courtyards, it has many Rajput influences.
The interiors are large and airy with lofty ceilings,
and the décor is Rajasthani but with a contemporary twist. read

SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka,
in a time span of four months has increased three new frequencies
