The award winning newsletter from Creative Travel
February 2018

Dear Industry Colleagues,

Welcome to another edition of award winning 'Creatively Yours'.

January has been a fabulously proud month for Team Creative. On January 14 at the SITE+MPI Global Forum in Rome, we were honoured with our 7th SITE Crystal Award for Excellence in Incentive Travel: Asia Pacific. This was a satisfying win for the project was perhaps one of the most challenging incentive trips we have ever operated. It has also positioned us as an undisputed domain expert in the Maldives when it comes to operating groups and incentives there.

On the 30th of January at a glittering award ceremony in New Delhi, we were honoured with an award for ‘Excellence in Inbound Tour Operations’ at the 2nd SATTE Industry Awards. This was voted upon by an independent jury of industry leaders under the auditing of E&Y.

We are very proud of the men and women who work for us who have one simple goal – to showcase the best of the best of the Indian sub-continent to guests from all over the world. A special thank you to all our friends and partners across India and the world whose endless support allows us to be what we are. We are humbled and honoured…

You can read more about these below.

The Indian Budget was released on the 1st of February. Most disposing, there was nothing to impact the health of the Indian tourism industry. The Indians inbound industry has been going through a few years of doldrums. There are pockets of excellence, but overall the market is very weak. Incessant lobbying with the government went vain yet again. We are most disappointed.

Nevertheless, we stand resilient and will not waiver in showcasing the best of what our region has to offer. You shall see some new and exciting initiatives in the coming summer from Team Creative. New experiential inclusions, new circuits, new concepts. We take pride in our ability to make a trip to the Indian sub-continent something very different.

Read this and much more in this edition of Creatively Yours.

Best Regards,

Take care,

Have a Creative Day!

What People Say About Us
Today we had the pleasure of doing a tour of the Taj Mahal under the guidance of Monica our tour guide.  She was a delightful guide to spend the tour with, as she was very hands on by assisting us with photo taking across all the prominent photo positions.  As a history graduate with a university education, she was able to give us a very informed background to the Taj and the love story it depicted in Indian history.

Expect the unexpected in Chhattisgarh. Chiselled out of Madhya Pradesh 17 years ago, Chhattisgarh offers an inimitable charm with its lush topography. But it is the cultural diversity that really sets it apart from the entire belly of India.
