India is not a country but a continent and travelling through it is an experience like none other. Overwhelming in its chaos at first, it gradually unfolds unique delights. You may find it in its majestic forts, monuments and temples; in exquisite crafts; in traditional and contemporary arts; in the bustle of its colourful bazaars; landscapes and nature reserves; in diverse cuisines; or in the unexpected beauty that filters through the chaos.

The famous Golden Triangle is a traveller’s survey of Indian icons with Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur, at one of the apices. It kicks off at the daunting mega metropolis of Delhi, with its majestic Mughal heritage, and then angles to Agra, where one of the world’s most famous tombs, the Taj Mahal, defines the city. The triangle is completed at Jaipur – a city painted pink with some of the most colourful bazaars in India. Moreover, Jaipur is the gateway to Rajasthan, and once you’ve slept in a palace, entered a medieval fort or swayed on a camel, you’ll want to experience more.

This program has been especially curated for those who are visiting India for the first time and would like to get a flavour of the different facets of the country be it – the heritage, architecture, arts & crafts, culture: city and rural, culinary delights and its diverse wildlife. You get a little insight into everything while visiting the must-see destinations – A perfect introduction to India.

Day 1 Delhi
Arrive in Delhi this day. A special welcome awaits you. Check in to your chosen hotel.

Day 2 Delhi
Start the day with your expert guide giving you an overview of Delhi. Begin your tour with exploring the old city of Shajahanabad Old Delhi & enjoy the rickshaw ride in the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. You can also as an optional experience enjoy a Heritage walk of Old Delhi followed by lunch at Indian house. In the afternoon explore New Delhi along with the fascinating monuments Humayun’s tomb & Qutub Minar and other regal government buildings.

Day 3 Jaipur
After breakfast, drive on to Jaipur, the famed Pink City. You will have some time free to relax or explore a bit of the town. An optional experience available is an evening visit to an Indian home where you get to interact with the family over a traditional meal. Another optional is to see an Indian movie with the locals at the famed Raj Mandir theatre.

Day 4 Jaipur
This morning explore the magnificent Amber fort. Afternoon at leisure or more explorations.

Day 5 Jaipur
Morning explore more of Jaipur including the city palace complex, Observatory and the old city leading to an insight into the textiles and jewellery making crafts that the city is famous for. This evening explore Jaipur bio reserve surrounding Dera Amer on foot accompanied by the elephant and its Mahout.

Day 6 Agra
After breakfast drive on to Agra, the city of the Taj. En-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri. This afternoon you can explore the Taj Mahal and Agra fort.

Day 7 Departure
Optional sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Breakfast is at the hotel. Later in the day drive back to Delhi & transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
