It’s all about experiences - Creative
Photographers!
We knew that we had a lot of talent here at Creative
but even so we thought we would put to the test just how creative
our team members are. We were pleasantly surprised and
delighted by the results. We gave a brief of sending in photographs
which portrayed an Indian ‘’experience’’ in a high resolution
picture and were overwhelmed to receive over 120 entries. We shortlisted
26 of these which were then judged for first, second and
third prize. The standard of the entries was incredibly high and
the judges had a tough job selecting just three. However,
as we are proud of all of our team’s talent we will now be putting
together a coffee table book of experiences, featuring
a selection of the photographs which were submitted. |

Delhi Pinkathon – International Run
only for Women
On Sunday 6th September, a team of twenty two of Creative’s
ladies took part in the Delhi Pinkathon, a 10 km International run
only for women. Started back in 2012, these mini marathons
are organized throughout the country in order to raise awareness
about breast cancer, its causes and prevention as well
as encouraging women’s health and fitness. Pinkathon offers running
distances of 3 Kms, 5 Kms & 10 Kms giving each runner an
opportunity to run in their own comfort zone. Each of our ladies,
despite the early start (0530!) received medals for completing
the course, ensuring that we had the largest number of
participants from a travel company in India. |

What they think about us .... |
|
|
|
|
We at Creative
track guest feedback very carefully. Each evaluation form gives
us an insight on our operations and allows us to constantly refine
our service delivery process. Now and then we get a few
letters that brighten up our days. This is an excerpt from one
of the lovely messages we get :
I would like to commend you on the most
wonderful tour of Imperial Rajasthan. It was one of the
most enjoying trips I have had. The itinerary was very good and the
beautiful and opulent hotels were excellent and their service was
impeccable, and so was the food exquisite.
I must also add our Tour Director and guide Mr. Devender
Singh Rathore, was an excellent guide and very very knowledgeable
and his beautiful friendly personality made the tour a great success.
His service was over and above the call of duty, He could
sort out all the problems with such good humour and composure especially
when he stayed with us at the airport in Udaipur, when our
flight was delayed indefinitely. He was busy trying to get us on
other flights and get us hotel accommodation if we were to miss our
connecting flight. Fortunately all went well and we did
not miss our connecting flights.
He has great qualities which is of great importance to
your company. Do recognize his qualities and reward him generously.
Also very important is the coach driver, Mr. Rattan. He
is an excellent driver and his handling of the big bus in such chaotic
roads is impeccable. Our journey was smooth and most enjoyable
knowing we had a great driver.
The worker on the bus was also to be commended for the
upkeep of the coach, which was always very clean and his service
to the passengers were good always pleasant when he brings us the
bottled water, which we were all very grateful because it
was extremely and humid.
Kind regards,
Yasmin Suliman |

Dussehra 2015: Victory of Good over
Evil
Dasara is among the most important festivals celebrated
in India. The Word Dasara is derived from the Sanskrit word Dasha-hara
meaning “remover of bad fate”. The name Dussehra is derived from
Sanskrit Dasha-hara literally means the sun will not rise
(Dasha (sun) and Hara (defeat) referring to Lord Rama’s victory
over the ten-headed demon king Ravana.
India is a country of diverse culture and uniqueness.
A nation belonging to vivid people, different ideologies and thinking.
A land in which each festival is of equal importance and
is celebrated by the whole nation together. One such festival is
Dussehra or Vijayadashmi, which is an important Hindu
festival celebrated across the country with a lot of happiness and
enthusiasm. |

Diwali festival – 11th November 2015
A Hindu festival rooted in deep human values, strong
mythical beliefs and legends, Diwali signifies the true essence
of life where good overcomes evil. Celebrated with much
gaiety, grandeur and festivity, the festival of Diwali transcends
caste, creed and community to become all-inclusive and encompassing.
In man's eternal quest for both spiritual enlightenment and worldly
prosperity, Diwali marks the most auspicious day when
family bonds and human relations become stronger while business
ventures gain a promising head start.
Diwali is celebrated on the 'new moon day' in the month
of Kartik which falls in October/ November. The boisterous fervor
of Diwali is manifested in busy markets much ahead of
celebration, illuminated public places and homes lit with earthen
'diyas' , candles and decorative lighting and people decked
up in bright, new clothes. Men and women partake of the rituals
which involves doing 'pujas' and offering 'prasad' to Gods and
Goddesses. Perhaps as old as the tradition of celebrating Diwali
is, equally age-old is the ritual of offering sweets and gifts
to families and friends. The most common scene synonymous with Diwali
is that of children and adults burning firecrackers and
sparkles. A noticeable trend around Diwali celebrations is a Diwali
party, where friends and family gather to celebrate this day. |

central financial assistance (CFA) to them for development of
infrastructure related to Spiritual tourism such as yoga
centres, meditation centres, facilities/amenities at pilgrim centres
etc. subject to adherence to the existing scheme guidelines,

Panna – A Forgotten Gem
Panna – meaning ‘emerald’ once was known for its diamond
mines and lush green scenic jungles is today a forgotten destination.
The area today is recognized more as an entry/exit point
to the famous “Madhya Pradesh Tiger Circuit” and Khajuraho temples
than for Panna Tiger Reserve.
However, the park today is a wildlife success story
– The Park lost all its tigers in 2008 and tigers were re-introduced
to the park in 2009 and today the tiger population has
bounced back to about 30 individuals. However, it’s not all about
the animals; a fairly good sized Park with a core area of 576
sq. km and a larger buffer area of a 1000 sq. km. The landscape
is extremely picturesque with extensive plateaus, gorges and
waterfalls. Ken River is the life source of the forest and is possibly
one of the cleanest rivers in central India. The park unlike
others in the region offers a boat safari on the ken river that
is highly recommend especially for the wildlife photographers
as it gives them a chance to get eye level photographs of the muggers
– the fresh water crocodiles at fairly close quarters.
Although not recognized as a popular wildlife destination Panna
offers a truly exceptional wildlife experience. The park
is said to have a higher density of prey species and visibility
of smaller predators such as ‘dholes’ – Asiatic wild dogs,
jungle cats, rusty spotted cat and the leopard is fairly high.
But the reason why Panna should be considered as a ‘destination’
is not restricted to the wildlife park. There is quite
a bit to see and do for people of all interest. Panna town alone
might generate some interest to those of an architectural bent
of mind with an interesting mix of ancient architecture – buildings
that have influences of Mughal, Bundela and even Palladian
styles of architecture. Apart from the tow there are several excursions
that might excite the mind of an explorer such as Ajay
Garh fort, Chhatris of Chhatrasal at Maheba, Pandava and Raneh waterfalls
and the picturesque Bundelkhand villages.
So if you are an artist, photographer, wildlife enthusiast
or just an avid explorer Panna should definitely feature high on
your destinations to visit list. For more details please
get in touch with wildlife experts at JungleSutra. |

Dolphins
to add flavour to backwater cruise in Kerala
Pack your bags for a cruise along the estuaries of Kochi,
Ashtamudi and Munambam estuaries when the monsoon makes a retreat.
The best time to watch the gentle giants is between December
and April. Dolphins have been seen using all three estuaries extensively
all through the year except during the monsoon. Between December
and April, the sightings peaked, according to Divya Panicker,
a marine mammal ecologist. read
