Creative Travel's
Annual Chaat Party
Every year, in January, we have our famous "Chaat Party". This is when
we call our friends from the hotels and airlines just to say thank you
over an afternoon of mouth watering feast. It is also an opportunity for
our team to meet the people they speak to on the phones throughout the
year. After all, its good to put a face behind a name. This year we had
over 500 guests. It seems the popularity of the party keeps on growing
every year.
For those unfamiliar with the Indian passion that is "Chaat", here is a
link to read up on it -

Bhagoria Festival
In our endevour to provide the true flavour of the colorful and
vibrant land of border of Madhya Pradesh / Gujarat, Bhagoria
festival, is a unique festival which speaks of the multicultural
base of modern India. The Bhagoria Haat in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh
reminds us of the age old colorful traditions of the tribal, since
this festival originated with the Bhil tribal of Madhya Pradesh. The
fun filled nature of the festival is representative of the rich
cultural heritage that India represents.

Holi (Festival of colors)
Holi is undoubtedly the most fun- filled boisterous of Hindu festivals.
The colorful festival of Holi is celebrated during the spring season
either late February or in early March. Holi festival has an ancient
origin and celebrates the triumph of 'good' over 'bad'. The colorful
festival bridges the social gap and renews sweet relationships. On this
day, people hug and wish each other 'Happy Holi'. Holi is the festival of
young hearts. Spraying colors, dancing on traditional Holi songs, musical
drum beats and wild processions are the common scenes that one comes
across during this festival.
Holi celebration begins with lighting up of bonfire on the Holi eve.
Numerous legends & stories associated with Holi celebration makes the
festival more exuberant and vivid. It is the second most important
festival of India after Diwali.
Creative Travel will be closed on Thursday March 8, 2012 for Holi
festival. |
