Vistara becomes
first airline in India to implement airline IT
solutions
Vistara announced a
partnership with Amadeus, a leading technology
partner for the global travel industry, to implement
the Amadeus Altéa Suite of technology solutions.
Vistara is the first airline in India to adopt the
Amadeus Altéa Suite, which is already used by more
than 120 airlines worldwide, including Singapore
Airlines. At Amadeus we are committed to connecting, serving and managing the needs of both our customers and the evolving 21st Century traveller. At the same time I would like to place on record how pleased we are to sign an agreement which marks the first airline in India to adopt our Altéa solution". Based on existing airline contracts, Amadeus estimates that by 2017 the number of Passengers Boarded (PBs) managed by Altéa will be around 1 billion. |
